Practice Mindfulness No Matter What
Have you ever experienced your efforts to be present go by the wayside as soon as you get to work, or are in a “real world” situation? When you have a confrontation with co-worker, this is the very moment when your practice matters most.
The moment to practice is NOW.
21 Minutes to Feeling Fabulous
Today I’m going to show you how to apply this to your fitness routine. I do this on occasion when I’m short on time. You can apply the “21 rule” while you’re running, walking or riding a bike for a total of 20, but for the sake of auspiciousness, go ahead and add in that extra minute which you can use as your cool down.
When it comes to creating wealth and abundance, we need to give something away without the need to receive something back. What matters most is that we REALLY wanted to give for the sake of giving.
True wealth both materially and spiritually can only come from giving. It can be hard at times to wrap our brain around this concept in such a me, me, me world, but once you really get it, and what I mean by that is– when this touches your heart instead of your head– then that’s when the magic happens.
From giving comes great wealth.
I love to knit, so this time of year sparks my desire to start a new sweater. If you’re an avid knitter or “yarny,” then you have something called a stash. (no, not that kind) This is where you hoard yarns that you’ve acquired for a very particular purpose, or those that you’ve purchased on impulse. (FYI– $125 impulse yarn buys are dangerous!)
You may be wondering, it’s a beautiful Saturday morning, so why talk about that dreaded subject–death? Well, I’m writing about it for the very reason that it’s a beautiful morning. I don’t want you to miss a single moment of the preciousness of this day. I wish for you to appreciate and celebrate every single moment– both the good, bad and bittersweet. Don’t miss being witness to a single morning dew drop, a child’s smile, a cool breeze on your face, the sunset, or gazing at the stars.
