Create your sacred space and resolve to start a morning routine in 2016.
In this solo impromptu off-the-cuff episode, I share a quick story about how the Morning Cooldown started and why I’m coming back full circle and talk about why I started the podcast. I share why I feel compelled to get back to my roots and record episodes at the moment I feel most inspired, which is usually each morning after my morning workouts, recorded no-frills style, directly on my smartphone.
This time around, I pick up from where I left off in episode 010 and ask the question: What would it take for you to start a morning routine in 2016 and what is the ONE non-negotiable thing you need to do to make this happen?
Share it here in the comments… or just click on the player and leave your comment above. I can’t wait to start the convo!
Nothing scripted. Just me with all the ums, ahs and ya knows.
This short and sweet solo episode is a look back at the past year and a half since I began recording The Morning Cooldown. I take a hard look at WHY I started this podcast in the first place. My original approach was quickie, unedited and off-the-cuff recordings that I could capture on my smart phone while cooling down after a morning workout. (more…)
In this episode, I’m chatting with Aimee J., a software developer, podcaster, speaker, and Chief Dream Chaser on the Chasing Dreams podcast. Aimee began podcasting in 2013 and has launched multiple podcasts including Revisiting Haven, which discusses the TV show, Haven, and took her to Nova Scotia, Canada to interview the cast & crew on location.
Life is short. Wouldn’t you rather try and know that you did your very best, and fell short, rather than regret that you never gave chasing your dream a shot?
In this episode, I chat with Betsy Westhafer about the power of a morning routine, and how capitalizing on the first few hours has transformed her life in a multitude of ways, including the launch ActionMasters Network, an online platform offering accountability coaching, progress tracking and group support for people who commit to taking action every day toward achieving their goals .
Betsy shares an inside look into how she starts her morning every day, and explains the acronym S.A.V.E.R.S, from the wildly popular book, The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod, and how she uses these principles each morning as a launchpad for her day.
What’s the one thing you can do today to get closer to your desired state? This is the genesis behind the accountability process.
